Inked Edge Freebie

Hi all!

I have some exciting news!! I'm going to be selling at ScrappersZone!!! Yay!! Make sure you all come over and check the site out. It's great. I'm also going to be starting a few challenges and maybe a few crops in my Yahoo Group!! Make sure you join at the bottom of my blog to keep up to date on that. :)

Now, for today's freebie.... I found some inked edge templates on my hard drive (I forget about so much LOL). Just a hint on how I personally use them (easier to alter the colors to match your LO) is to open the .png file, go up to EDIT and create a brush for the file. Then you can match the colors of your LO to the inked edge, alter transparency, ect. :)

Download these HERE! I'd love to know how you use them and if you found my hint helpful!! :)

Blessings!!

Elements Earth Kit

Hi all!!

I just completed my first Elements kit~ Earth.

Downloads: Papers Elements Alpha

These files are all password protected, so you can download them, but you won't be able to extract them without the password earned from me.

There are two ways to get this kit from me. :) The first way is to send me a LO or a link to a LO that you created using one of my kits. The second way (thanks Maria for the suggestion) is to donate to my hometown's flood fund.

Scroll down my blog for the donate button or email me your LO or LO link to scrap_simple@yahoo.com. I will also be looking for your links in the comments on this post and the CBox to the right. Please do not place your links on the 4shared site, as I won't be checking links from there.

I look forward to hearing from all of you!!

Hometown Tragedy

I thought long and hard on this, and I've come to the decision to inform you all and ask of you a huge favor. Below you will see a collage of my hometown, Bucyrus OH, and yes, it's underwater. I know a lot of people who are homeless and lost all of their possessions in the flash flooding that occurred here. The very sad part is that being in the northwest, very few people spend the money to acquire flood insurance, unless of course they live in a flood plain. We have not gotten this much rain (over 9 inches in less than 24 hours) in 38 years. That's more years than I've been alive!! So, in order to help these people, I'm asking for donations through my blog. If you find your way here, and download a kit or two, I'm begging of you to please take the time to donate a bit to these people in need. I've spoken with my pastor about it, and to my sister, who is a city employee, and the funds I collect will be anonymously donated to the various charitible groups who are assisting these poor victims.

I appreciate all of you reading this, even if you cannot afford to help.

Thank you so much for your time!!
